COOKBOOK: Bake Class

An Australian and love to cook?  Then you would have at some stage in your life flicked through the pages of the Australian Gourmet Traveller magazine.  Surely?

If you loved the magazine as much as me, then I’m pretty confident you ran across the name Anneka Manning at some stage.  Or maybe you saw her name from Australian Good Taste or the Australian Women's Weekly?  Wherever you saw it, or whether you saw it at all, you're going to see it again soon - attached to this beautiful new cookbook.

BakeClass.

A cookbook for both beginners and capable bakers, teaching the ten most common mixing methods for baking.

A cookbook filled with practical lessons, step-by-step photos, concise instructions and great tips.  You'll also find some wonderful, inspiring and simple recipes.

You may be wondering why I’m perusing a cookbook filled with gluten and sugar or why I whipped up chocolate cookies from said cookbook, however when you get your own copy and flick through the pages yourself, you’ll understand why.  It’s simply stunning.   Even though I avoid a lot of the ingredients for health reasons these days, I loved it for its practical baking steps and awe-inspiring photography.  The look and feel of this cookbook is exactly what I love in a cookbook - one recipe per page and photos of EVERYTHING.  You did good Anneka.

In the words of a colleague who enjoyed these little treats….."the best chocolate cookie I've ever eaten!"
