The Ritual Ladies Lunch !

Our ritual "ladies lunch" in Bordeaux (basically long, lazy and somewhat boozy) would happen to be one of the best meals I've eaten in all of France.

A little Bistro tucked away in some back alley named Elvis.

Don't scoff!

There are no hot-dogs or sodas on the menu here, just simple, fresh and mouth wateringly delicious modern French food in the most welcoming of settings - walls filled with stunning photography taken around the world by the owner.

The menu is limited and changes daily (just how I like it), and today's offer was duck or prawns.  We ordered both!

To select your wine, head up to the bar for a tasting.

I told you not to scoff!

It's no secret that I love my food, and when I find a place that loves fresh seasonal produce as much as me (and where they don't load up their menu just to please the public), I'm in love.

It also helps that the owner was tres beau.
