Thyroid Cancer

So I have something to share.

 

I’ve unfortunately been diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

 

Ho hum.

 

After the panic and tears of hearing this news back on the 8th August, I’m actually quite ok with it now.  I feel like I’m in a really good place both physically and mentally. 

 

Somewhere deep down inside I must have known, as I had already switched my diet to 100% plant based (the most recommended diet based on my research for healing naturally), and interestingly, 2 weeks before the diagnosis, I received an email about signing up to a free online course called Chris Beat Cancer – which I actually signed up to thinking I could get some wonderful preventative tips!  Funny how life works.

 

The good news is, my endocrinologist would like to (at the moment) just simply monitor, which I am sooo happy about.  If you know me at all, you know I’m not one to leap with an open heart into conventional practices, especially surgery and chemo, so being given time “to monitor” means I have time to go “hell for leather” into my natural healing protocol.  And by that, I mean I have dived head first into the Chris Beat Cancer Square One protocol, and I have to say, I’m friggin’ loving it.

 

Something I’ve been learning about thyroid cancer, is that there is more often than not, a connection between a virus (in particular, Epstein Barr Virus) and heavy metal toxicity.  Tick tick boom baby - I have both!  Yes, there are many other factors, but for me, these 2 stand out amongst the crowd.  Curious about this connection – you can read a little more here.

 

So I thought I’d share with you, in a snapshot, what I’m doing.

 

My Healing Protocol (right now)

 

 

100% low fat, plant based whole foods | Removing ALL cancer feeding/promoting foods including fats/oils as research shows fats can help “feed” cancer

 

Celery Juice | Every morning on an empty stomach, helping to rid and heal my body of EBV, toxins and inflammation

 

Veggie Juice | 2 litres of carrot, beet and ginger juice EVERYDAY! Overdosing my body with nutrients in the quickest and most efficient form

 

Raw Veggies | Loads of raw veggies for lunch and dinner, specifically cruciferous veggies (think cabbage, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, etc).  These are some major cancer fighting foods

 

Rebounding | Helping to increase lymph flow/drainage in my body – one of our body’s detoxification organs

 

Body Brushing | Helps to stimulate our biggest detoxification organ – our skin – drawing out those unwanted toxins

 

Epsom Salt Baths | Like body brushing, a wonderful tool to help draw out toxins as well as helping replace much needed magnesium into my body – a mineral our thyroid’s CANNOT function without

 

Essential Oils | My non-toxic plant based medicine, helping to support me physically and emotionally

 

Saunas | Just like body brushing and Epsom Salt baths – sweating it out in a sauna is also helping me to draw out those unwanted toxins

 

Coffee Enemas | Stimulating my liver to help produce glutathione – a detoxifying antioxidant as well as the flow of bile

 

Meditation | Both morning and night to help calm my mind and turn it into a healing tool rather than being surrounded by negative/fearful thoughts - fav meditations by Dr Joe Dispensa

 

Journaling | Getting it out of my head – letting go – forgiving

 

Rest | Lots of it!

 

 

You name it, I’m trying it, and my body hasn’t felt this good in years!
