I always get a buzz when someone asks me to cater their special occassion.  I especially love it when it's someone close to me (as I usually get to go and eat the food too!)  So this past Sunday was spent happily in the kitchen trialling some new dishes for my friend's birthday next weekend.  Yes, I also happily got to eat the winners (and the loosers too, if I'm being honest!)

The picnic rug is packed and my party dress is ready to go!
