Every month or so, a couple of girlfriends and I hit the hiking trails around Victoria.  I like to think I'm a hardcore hiker, but I'm the one usually puffing at the back trying to catch up.

I don't normally take my camera along with me on these hikes as I need every ounce of energy just to get myself up the hills (not to mention empty hands to grab hold of anything I can to help haul me up), but this particular day we stayed close to town, and with dogs in tow I decided today was a good opportunity to capture the moment on film.
