One rainy morning in Amboise, we jumped in the Renault and set the GPS for Dordogne.

Our destination, Beynac.

Otherwise known as The Most Gorgeous Village in the Whole Wide World!

The sky is bright blue and the sun is warm on our face.

We take long walks after even longer lunches, then lay by La Dordogne River for either a nap, a read of our books , or to watch the hot air balloons sail by all under the watchful eye of the beautiful Chateau Beynac.

I love knowing that this place exists.
