It's no surprise that the wine here is GOOD!

The fact you can get pitchers of wine (various sizes) depending on your mood and your plans for the afternoon, is even better.  Why don't they offer this back home?

We were also surprised (meaning, jumping up and down and clapping our hands) by the number of delicious restaurants Gordes has tucked away in its hill top village.  L'Encas is one of our favourites with its clean fresh salads, great steaks and fish and even better frits......our first frits in France.
