This is how I spent my Tuesday evening........

...meeting the founders of a very popular Melbourne institution known as  Lord of the Fries (this is Mark) at their Fitzroy store....

Yep, just your average Tuesday night!

Prior to last night, I had only ever eaten their signature fries and I can honestly say that I have been missing out.  Last night was a real eye opener. 

As you would know I'm a carnivore at heart, yet their vegetarian burgers and nuggets were absolutely delicious.  The flavour they manage to pack into their menu, not to mention the quality of the buns they use (so so good!) had me enjoying every bite and forgetting that I was not in the company of any meat what so ever. 

And the onion rings.....OMG!
