Carob contains gallic acid.

Gallic acid is an analgesic and antiseptic and is anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-viral.

Carob also happens to be high in potassium, magnesium, iron, manganese, barium, copper and nickel.

Jeez….happy eating my friends, especially to those following the AIP protocol!
