A Birthday Picnic !

Who doesn't love a picnic?

Not I!

I'm a sucker for lazing the day away on a picnic rug, whether it be with friends and yummy food or just on my own with a good book. I love it! So I was very happy to be celebrating one of my oldest friend's birthdays at a "vintage style" picnic recently.

The sun shone brightly and the welcoming breeze blew the lace table clothes on what turned out to be a "perfect picnic weather day". We ate our way through quiches filled with chorizo, caramelised onions and tomatoes, baguettes stuffed with goodies, lavender marinated chicken wings and mini sausage rolls....just to name a few.
