The Cookbook Challenge #1

Slowly but surely I'm edging my way back into the kitchen.  I can't believe what a slow process it has been for me since returning from overseas.  There are so many things I want to bake, recipes I want to make, lots of ideas swimming around in my head that I just don't know where to start, or if I'm honest, can't be bothered starting.

I know I'll eventually get there.  Patience is not a virtue of mine!

The Larder !

Name any cafe or restaurant The Larder and I'm sucked in! 

There's something special about that word that appeals to some hidden part of me - It could be a crappy little shop, but I still have to take a look inside just to feel satisfied.  Unfortunately, I'm often disappointed.

So I can honestly say I was a happy girl when I walked into The Larder - a little cafe on the main street of Daylesford and found myself surrounded by cookbooks, enamel milk jugs for sale and various sized platters of cakes and biscuits. 

Not to mention some cute Christmas decorations, which I'm an even bigger sucker for.
